What do I actually do?

 

In short, I bring ideas together into one cohesive concept and make things aesthetically pleasing to a variety of people. I figure out what you're passionate about and express it in ways that attract and engage your audience.

 

In the writing world, I've been editing since 2004, blogging since 2009 and writing with a purpose for nearly 20 years. I've been featured on a few notable online magazines and websites, not to mention managing my own for the last five years. Feel free to view some of my work here.  Most of my copy editing experience is in resume writing, personal statements, entrance applications, sponsorship letters and other organizational correspondences.  In terms of blogging, I focus heavily on female empowerment, the human experience, culture, fiction, short stories and relationships.  

 

In anything I do, I employ a very personal approach.  I use your voice and my technical abilities to produce work that is organic and true to your desire.  I value my clients' trust and I take what I do very seriously as it can truly change the course of their lives.  I would never say I'm the best writer in the world.  What I will say is that I'm confident that I can bring the best writer out of you.

 

In addition to my literary skills, I have six years of event planning/coordinator experience.  Everything from expense reports to ordering linens, to setting up tables to shopping for venues - I have done it all and I'm willing to do it all, every time.  I create, consult, plan, but most importantly I execute.  No job is too small or too great for me to complete if it pertains to an event I'm working on.  Currently, I'm focused on charity and community development events.  In the past, I've done concerts, meetings, conferences, workshops, private functions and more.   When it comes to event planning, every detail matters to me and if what you want doesn't exist or it's unnattainable for whatever reason, I will create it from scratch.
